This green coloured iRiver MP3 Player which is a Flash based digital player is attached with a Micro-battery (AAA) for up to 20 hours of playing time to play back. Some of the popular audio formats supported by it are MP3, WMA and OGG Vorbis. It is equipped with 512 MB memory and built-in microphone to record digital voice notes. It is easy to operate and very light weight. The dimensions are (W x D x H) 64 x 32 x 22 mm while its weight is 27g.
The Bundled Software consists of Windows Media Player 10 and Manual on CD. The system requirements are Microsoft Windows XP, Intel Pentium II 233MHz or AMD K6-2 266 MHz, 128 MB RAM (256 MB recommended), USB 2.0 port. Extremely compact it has an intuitive graphically controlled menu apart from integrated real-time clock with alarm function. The various range of play modes are Repeat, Shuffle, Intro and Study, whereas it has an Individual sound adjustment via 10 EQ settings as well as freely adjustable user EQ. Other notable features are FF/RW scan speed, resume function, fade-in, time display for the song and duration of background lighting.
The audio supportive ID3 information are ID3 V1.1 and V2.2 up to V2.4 while the rated power output comes to 30 mW (15 mW per channel) (16 ½) and the frequency is 20 Hz 20 kHz. The given Signal-to-noise ratio is 90 dB/A while the Distortion factor is less than 0.1%. Apart from manual parametric equalizer it has a 4-line graphic LCD too.
The interfaces provided are USB 2.0 for fast data transfer from PCs or notebooks, binaural Headset port: 3.5 mm stereo minijack, Line-in: 3.5 mm stereo minijack for connection of external audio sources and Built-in microphone for voice recording. iRiver OS (upgradable Firmware) is also offered with the device.

Integrated Flash memory is the digital storage media whereas stereo is the sound output mode. It is compatible with amplifier too. The Supported Bit Rate comes to 8 - 320Kbps while the Response Bandwidth is 20 - 20000 Hz. The Connectivity Technology is wired and an audio cable is also included. 250 songs can be stored and storage capacity is 0.5GB.
