The brand Archos has recently introduced their new media player named as Archos 605 80GB Wi-Fi MP3 Player with expandable features and durability.
The Archos is a musical player with TFT display technology with a horizontal and vertical resolution of 800 x 480 pixels. The size of the screen is 4.3 inches and the screen is supported with 16 million colours. The height of the system is 82mm, the depth is 20 mm, the width is 122mm, and it comes with a weight of 260 grams.
MP3 playback and MPEG4 playback are included with music playtime of 17 hrs and video play time of 5.5 hrs by the given battery life. The rechargeable lithium batteries are used in the MP3 player and the other option for recharging is via USB cable. The device has a very high storage capacity and the given capacity is 80 GB with a hard disk drive as storage medium.
Photo viewer, touch screen, WAV play back, WMA play back, video recorder and MP4 play back are the additional features supported by the system. The audio format is MP3, WAV, WMA, AAC, MP3 VBR, AC3, IMA ADPCM and the video format is MPEG-4, MPEG-2, H.264, WMV and AV1. The MP3 bit rate is ranging from 32kbps to 320 kbps. The interface used in this Archos MP3 player is USB 2.0 and the output given is headphone.
The Archos 605 MP3 Player is a portable multimedia unit with Wi-Fi connectivity and software used is Archos link. The video and the audio recording are possible via the DVR travel adapter or the DVR station. The compatible platforms of the system are Windows XP, Vista and Mac OS X.
